Twenty Six...Alaska State Fair

They say the vegetables at the fair in Palmer are the heftiest. Chalk it up to 22 hours of daylight! Can you even imagine a cabbage that weights 80 pounds or a carrot at 20? All I have to say is I've got to see it. Yes, we'll be visiting the Alaska State Fair. Maybe Sarah will be there the same day?!

BTW, did you know Alaska turns Fifty this year? I wish I was turning 50 for the simple fact that you can get all kinds of free stuff if you turn fifty this year with Alaska. Not fair. If your 50th birthday is this year and you're still looking for a place to vacation, Alaska should be your destination.
